Anyone in UK? hospital bag help

Is anyone from the UK able to help? I'm 33+3 and haven't got my hospital bag ready. People keep telling me I should have it ready by now. But I don't know where to start!! What did/have all you mums packed in it? Any essentials needed?? I've seen people with 2/3 bags of stuff 🙈 I want to go as minimal as possible.

I'm 32w 4d and I'm completely packed, I did it this week after a bit of a scare last Sunday. I got a list off the Mothercare website. I think your hospital generally has one online as well. I did a bit of a Primark shop- I've bought cheap pants, pjs and bath towels so I can just throw them if needed. I've also put travel size toiletries in and a going home outfit for me. I've got maternity pads and the disposable knickers just in case. It all fits neatly in an overnight bag. I'm using my changing bag for baby things, again this list was from Mothercare and there's a similar one on the hospital website. During my birth tour they also told you want to bring.

I just recommend buying bulk black underwear that are nice & comfortable. I wear black pants/leggings too. Long top over- no body wants to see your nappy like bludge! Lol. 😂

I'm a bit confused also lol I im from U.K. I have 2 children but a lot have changed since the past 5 years and when I had my oldest 8 years ago it was easier as they gave u the baby milk and little things but Iv heard it's all changed and you don't really get anything now, U can get the little disposable bottles of milk so Id get them if ur not planning on breast feeding and nappies and as for the disposable underwear I think I'll get them this time as I lost so much blood after it and my underwear got ruined anyway as did my pjs x

I'm in the UK & feeling a bit of the same? I'm not quite as far gone as you (30+1 weeks), but keep reading/hearing/being told all different things?! I'm interested to see what other people say? Do we really need disposable knickers for a start?!! I can understand maternity sanitary towels, but knickers that you throw away?! 😱
