As long as you can go out occasionally and socialize, then yes it is normal, maybe your just an introvert.
If the thought of going out with people makes you anxious, talk to your doctor.

I do sometimes get the mood where i don't want to socialize but i think that's because I'm a really shy person my husband keeps telling me to go out and meet new people but I'm just so shy...
