Cramping and pregnant?

My husband and I just found out 4 days ago that I'm pregnant with our first. I am having some very mild cramping and am curious if that's normal? Not all day, but for an hour or more at a time. I just worry that something can happen since it's so early. Thanks ladies!

Yes I cramped with my son on and off. Your uterus is growing take it easy and make sure to drink lots of water it will help.

This is my first pregnancy and I too have been experiencing the cramping. Before it actually started the doctor warned me about the cramps and like a member posted, she told me to drink water. Drink water while you are cramping and after and it is effective. I have been doing the water thing, and it really works. But as long as you aren't bleeding heavily and cramping you are fine. When I start cramping I also go to rest a bit. I am very afraid, but I am trying not to get too worked up.

As far as I have read, it seems normal as your uterus grows and changes. I've had the same experience, with mild cramps for about 20-30 minutes a day.
