I'm I having identical or fraternal twins?

I had my 1st ultrasound at 12w 5d and found out we are having twins and were told they are in separate sacks. They said next visit we will find out if identical or fraternal? Does that mean they can be identical too?

Depends on if they share a placenta. They can be in separate sacs and still be identical.

Mine are monochorionic diamniotic and are identical twin girls. They could still be identical if di-di too though more likely fraternal. Depends on what day the egg split.
