Two kids at 19? Good or bad idea.

Hey I just turned 19 & I have a 1 yr old (soon to be 2 in July). Me & my sons dad have been broken up since before my son was born and now I have a new boyfriend. He's so good to me and my son, but he has no children. He wants one though, and not in the future but NOW. I've been having baby fever lately and kind of want to give him one. He told me if I wasn't ready we could wait bc he loves my son and look at him like he's his. I really don't know what to do. I know we can make it work but I hate the thought of being judged for having another kid so soon. What are you guys opinion?

Bad, Bad, Bad idea! Not sure what the situation with your first child was, whether accident or planned, but jumping into having another child at this stage just seems very hasty. Having 2 children from 2 different fathers is a very touchy thing and in all honesty not something to be taken lightly. If I was in your situation I would want to know that he isn't just going to pick up and walk away. I would want a bigger commitment first (marriage) and since there is plenty of time for a child, that comes second.

There's always a risk of relationships not working out, more so usually at a younger age, and people change when kids gets involved. If you really feel good about the situation then yea go for it.

Honestly, you may get judged due to your age but if you feel ready then go for it! Tons of couples have their kids 1-2yrs apart, its not like its uncommon.. If you feel you guys can do it emotionally/physically/financially, I really dont see why not :)

You might get judged,  you might not.  I'm 19 turning 20 in September,  and just found out I'm pregnant with my 3rd.  I haven't been judged just helped as much as possible.  And yes I'm a bit nervous,  but if your mentaly stable, have a good relationship with him,  and are ready for your 3rd then I'd say go for it it's no ones choice but yours :) good luck!

If you feel like this man will stick around and is the one then go ahead! We started trying for our second back in October and I was still 19 at the time. Our second is due in November And I'll turn 21 right before

Yes, people will probably judge you, but who the f cares? If you and your partner are stable in every way, and you're both completely sure that you want a baby right now, I really don't see the problem. 
Someone mentioned that the different fathers might not be taken lightly, and neither will your young age but if you treat your kids right and you're all good, I really do not see why neither the fathers or your age should be something for anyone else to worry about.

Despite wanting one now, if he's willing to wait for a child. The you two should definitely wait. And if you both still feel the same after a year and have the finances and everything in place to provide for a new child as well as yourselves. Then by all means.
