Can I get an ultrasound?

Question

On monday I will be 4.1weeks.

My fiance is getting deployed monday. We do not have a doctor. The hospital said without an advanced appt. they wont do one.

Are there any places to walk in and get one? I do not want him to leave without one because we have had multiple miscarriages and he has never seen our baby on an ultrasound die to him always working.

My two questions are: Can I get one last notice? And Is it too early? Will I see anything? Is it even noticable by a doctor to see the baby?

This is what it would look like nothing sorry Hun hopefully you can get one at 6 weeks by then it looks like a jelly bean and you May hear a heartbeat

Most places even free clinics and stuff won't do one that early, but it doesn't hurt to try.

It all depends wha city you're in. By my house there's a place but they charge $300 :-(

I'm not sure if there's places that will do walk in ultrasounds, some doctors offices will let you pay to have a ultrasound done. Although your very early on, it's possible you/the doctor won't see anything that early, some ppl don't see a sac or embryo at 5-6 weeks sometimes. So you could do it, but it would be a 50/50 chance on seeing a sac & or embryo. My first ultrasound was at 6 weeks 5 days, & we were able to see both sacs & embryos (I'm expecting twins). Also you could mention you have had miscarriages before & a lot of times the doctor will give u a ultrasound sooner because of that. Goodluck

No you wouldn't be about to see the baby until about 6 weeks and even then maybe not a heartbeat
