Could you please advise regarding visiting India to see his grand parents ?

I have been to India several times. I'm not married to one but I have learned some customs.

Indians like gifts, bringing something special from your home, like a house decoration, jewelry, or sweet would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is uniform everywhere in India, but I've seen some of my Indian friends touch somewhere low on an elder's body when first meeting them as a sign of respect (like a knee or ankle).

Graciously accept their hospitality! Indians are famous for lavishing their guests with food and it is rude not to eat it. Give compliments.

Learn a few words of their local language. It is likely they will speak some English, but probably another language too. There are a bunch of different languages in India so ask your husband to teach you a few basic phrases. His grandparents will be impressed.

Ask your husband for advise on these things, I'm sure he could give you more ideas!

My husbands from Afghanistan obviously he can't really go back to visit but some family are in Pakistan I don't let him go as it's too dangerous he will be killed. India however is much safer

Well I've been dating a Vietnamese man for 2.5 years. Butttt he doesn't even know his grandparents cause he left Vietnam when he was 4 y/o and now is a citizen of the U.S. His grandparents have died but I wish you luck
