Wanting to stop Birth Control..

I'm 17 and my SO just turned 20(I have a late Birthday) and we've been together for 3 years. I've been on The Pill for 3 months and getting bad side effects. Since 2 weeks I've been getting horrible pain in my ribs which I'm terrified is because of my birth control and that I'll die..

I've been a chain smoker since I was 13 and I'm very addicted and I hate risking my health.. Posted on here about the pain in my ribs and if anyone had it caused by birth control because that is a side effect of my pill which is Alysena 28! My boyfriend told me 'well you can't' when I told him I wanted to stop.. I really do! I don't want to risk blood clots and would rather be off and use condoms! What do I do?:(
