Does this happen to you?

So my husband and I were out getting lunch with my parents. Just as we finished paying to leave, the lady asks me "so how far along are you?" And of course I had to say "I'm not...." We left and I kept thinking how heartbreaking it was for me to have to say out loud that this thing I want so bad isn't happening yet! Has this happened to anyone else? Needless to say my husband was able to laugh it off easier than me.
