Women's fertility and smoking; does it take longer for smokers to conceive ?

If you look at the stats, on average it'll take longer for a smoker to get pregnant.  That doesn't mean it takes every smoker longer and some will not have a problem,  but why risk it?  Why put yourself through the stress of quitting when you're pregnant?  Or worse yet, smoke through a pregnancy knowing the risks?

Why keep smoking if you are ttc?  I don't see the logic.
