Safe sunscreen recommendation?

Anyone know of a sunscreen safe for pregnant woman? I'm having a hard time finding one at my usual shopping spots.

I did some further research on this topic as I'm also in the market for some safe sunscreen!

I picked up the Wegmans brand mineral sunscreen and did not like it- it clumps up.

I'm going to try the Alba Botanica Mineral Sunscreen next and see. Make sure you get the mineral version- they make a chemical version too. Price is awesome- $6- for a mineral sunscreen!

I use Badger, Babyganics, and Terrasport. All rated between a 0-2 on EWG's skin deep website as one of the safest sunscreens.

Badger is thicker, so it's great for winter (and if you have pale skin).
Babyganic's consistency is pretty normal. And Terrasport is great if you have oily skin.

We use all three depending on our skin and weather.

I recently saw an article about how unsafe Neutrogena sunscreen is! Oxybenzone is the main sunscreen ingredient. Try sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide- I found Wegmans actually has a store brand one that is just that!

I also like Goddess Garden brand- it spreads way better than Badger. I think your best bet is to find it on Amazon.

I'm not sure of the names but I usually see natural sunscreen lotions when I go to one of the organic markets in my area. Maybe try to google, natural/organic sunscreen lotions. When I go back to the stores I'll let you know the brands they have!

I got baby zinc sunscreen, I think it's coppertone. None of them seem safe at all. That oxybenzone is not something I would want on my skin.
