IVF help please 😓

Hi ladies. Today I had to cancel my iui #2 because my follicles were not responding. My RE really thinks that I should be doing IVF. He thinks I will respond much better.
How do so many people afford it? I am afraid we will do it once and it won't work and I'll be stuck with paying this entire thing and not be able to do another. How does anyone do it? Help please.

We have to pay 100% for IVF so we have been looking at every possible option to try not to end up in debt- we are applying for grants, living on a tight budget to save what we can and fundraising online (giveforward.com) and doing a couple fundraising events (chili cook off and a garage sale with donated items).  Blessings to us both!

The DP and i just decided to go with ivf instead and i had to call my insurance and look into all of that first because i was so worried. I was shocked at what i found out about fertility coverage and how much different it can be than regular doctor visits. There are also sites that can help with that i saw some forums on here talk about it because aomeone was asking about ivf funding. Dont be scared of ivf- just have faith in your doctor and know that if he is recommending it, it is because it is what he/she believes will work best for you! We all have different bodies and react different and u dont want to spend money on iui cycles (that most likely wont work - if ur dr says so) when u could be putting that time and money in an ivf cycle that has better odds. I learned a lot from an ivf class i attended at a fertility clinic, maybe u can find one near you?Best of luck to you!

Thank you so much! I am going to look into some classes here! I appreciate it. Have you done IVF? And success yet for you?
