Am I crazy? &a little vent session.
I'm really excited to be pregnant and am also really excited to raise a child just my husband and myself. However, I feel slightly dumb bc I want to prove to people that I'm capable to raise a child better than how my stepdaughters mother is raising her. Partly because I want to show her mother that their daughter is mouthy because of the environment at her house, not ours (she tries to blame us&we see my s.daughter one day a week). I told my husband that our child will be raised with manners that their daughter is severely lacking when she's almost 9 y.o. Also just excited we won't have to "battle" with another house, strictly our rules.
Like, my husband's grandparents can't contain how excited they are that we're the next to have a child bc they see how we're trying to raise the one we see once a week and, "for once, one of our grandkids will raise a child to have manners".
