Soo.. kinda upset

Me and my SO were planning to get a hotel for when I go and visit him and have a romantic dinner and have alone time. & Sex time! Haha.. Well anyways, we have been planning this for a while now, and all of a sudden he tells me that we should just hangout at his parents house and watch movies.. Should I be upset or just brush it off?
