Getting asked when are you going to have another child?

Question

I get asked a lot when I'm going to have another child. My husband & I have been Ttc for 4 yrs. My son is 5yrs old. I have hypothyroidism & pcos. It's hard for me to answer ppl when I'm asked. (So when are you going to give your son a sibling) I try to stay positive & hope that one day I'll be blessed w/another child. 
I just don't know how to answer ppl. What are something's you tell ppl that question you about having more children?? Or how do you deal with the question when asked??

Most of the time I tell them when I get my sanity back. They look at me like I'm crazy but it's true. My son will be 2 in August and I've practically raised him myself. Hubby works a lot and since I work at home I'm always with him. My parents live in a another state and I just don't ask mil for help unless I really feel like I'm going out of my mind. So it's been stressful for me. I want another.. I do. Just haven't figured out if I'm mentally ready and people just don't understand it seems. I don't know if people ever really understand unless there a mom raising one at the time they're asking :)

I don't have any children and I get asked all the time since I am about to celebrate 1 year of marriage. My grandmother asks ALL THE TIME and I've started to say "what makes you think we aren't trying?" That usually makes people uncomfortable and they stop asking. I've had other friends use those questions to educate others and say "we are trying and hoping for a baby soon but I have pcos so we just have to work a little harder". It definitely opens up communication about whatever the condition might be and then people are usually respectful and don't ask much more.

If you really want to make them feel bad for being rude,  Answer..." I guess when my body wants to stop causing so many issues!"  don't let them get to you. Keep trying. :)

People at work ask me that all the time.  I just say whenever we feel is a good time. Only my closest friends know we're trying right now.  My mom will make comments every now and then, I just ignore her. We're close but not that close, you know.

People are always asking me to! My son is 2 but everyone around me keeps saying when are you having another one etc.. i had a misscarriage last month which i didnt tell anyone about except a few close people and its hard when people say that. I just say i dont know. Bluntly and they stop asking then. It is annoying when you are trying. And i can imagine it much harder for you, sorry about that. Just say your not sure.. you dont have to tell them your trying x
