I guess today is the day.
I had had some mild swelling in my legs and feet, and my BP had been slowly climbing so they had me come in a little sooner than a week apart. Well today at my appointment (38+3 weeks) my OB said I have pre eclampsia and sent me over to the hospital to be monitored for a few hours. I was 2cm dilated 50% effaced and having a few contractions that were about 5 mins apart. After some blood work and multiple BP test they decided to induce me. I was given cervadil and now I'm just hanging out waiting until it's time to remove it.
This wasn't my preference but hey "c'est la vie".
