So, my hubs and I have been TTC for a couple months. We've had the same insurance for 9 years, but my husband is considering changing companies right now, which would mean there will be a 3 month gap between coverage for us. (We're in the US).

I'm worried that if we test positive this month, I'll only have my first pregnancy visit before we lose coverage. Anyone else dealt with this? Should I apply for Obama-Care for those months? I've always had insurance, so I'm not even sure what I would qualify for? Should I even worry about it? Just take my prenatals and not worry about the monthly checkups? That seems wrong, considering with my first pregnancy I had monthly checkups throughout the entire pregnancy.
