White stuff on nipples...?

Before I jumped in the shower last night I  realized I had some white soft but dry substance on both of my nipples...this is my 1st pregnancy so I know it's too early for milk (I'm 13 wks) but what could this be?

I've had it too it looks like they're peeling I put lotion on my nipples 2x a day to keep them from doing that.

If you a super curious. Get a magnifying glass and look at your nipples. You will see your glands.

It is not to early for milk like liquid. I have had it every pregnancy and it is your body prepping for breastfeeding your baby. 
Just wait a few more months, you will be leaking milk if you squeeze it.

I've had them for as long as I can remember in my life - which probably dates back to high school cause I ain't had nobody's boobs before then. My mom used to tell me it was milk to see my reaction so she could laugh. It's not milk. I've never asked about it though. So sorry I can't tell you what it is.

It's either dried skin or dried colostrum. More typically colostrum if it's slightly yellowy and in your nipple holes.
