Late period but negative tests?

Question

Shark week was supposed to start on Friday but still hasn't. I was SUPER emotional over the weekend (like crying because the dog barked) and I'm not sure what's going on. I've taken 3 or 4 tests and are all BFN. 
We have been TTC for 2.5 years and nothing yet. 
I guess I just need some encouraging words or someone to tell me I'm not going crazy lol.

I was exactly 28 days late when I got my first positive. I had used 8 tests intermittently during that time and they were ALL negative. I thought I had just skipped a month of ovulation or something. Don't lose hope! Keep testing! It's not over until AF shows up!
