Traveling during pregnancy, thoughts?

I will be traveling to Washington, D.C. From southern CA when I will be 9 weeks, any thoughts as to if it will be safe for baby

I will be traveling to Costa Rica from MA with one connection both ways. I called my doctor after my second BW to confirm pregnancy and asked them about that since I will also be not out of my first trimester. They will give me an ultrasound to give me the all clear if I could go. I think since your still in the US then your fine. One thing I would look into is travel medical insurance to make your mind feel at ease.
