First time mum, baby has been really unusually active past few days, is this a sign? 
37 weeks tomorrow.

Any change in your babies movement whether that's an increase or decrease should be investigated by your healthcare professional. Many will say that a babies movements slow closer to labor but this is not true and is dangerous information. Movements will change in how they feel but never the amount. An increase or decrease can be a sign of distress and the best thing for you to do is continue to monitor and go to your doctor just to ensure your baby is well.

No usually they slow down when it's near, although my son never slowed down he was kicking when I was getting ready to have him lol.
