Will my medication affect my chances of conceiving?

I am currently on 150mg of sertraline and 125 of quetiapine (seroquel). Will this affect my fertility???

Any medication can adversely affect an unborn child. You basically need to weigh the pros and cons of the situation. I am taking Zoloft as well as anticonvulsant medication. Both are known to cause potential birth defects. If I don't take them, I risk seizure and depression/anxiety. Which is worse? How bad do I (or you) want a child. It's a question I've been facing almost 20 years. It kind of blows. But, remember, nothing is written in stone, and there are no guarantees in life. My baby and your baby will most likely be perfect!

I was taking sertraline and my dr said that if I planned to ttc I would need to get off the meds because they can cause serious birth defects.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about it. They will know that and / or if you should be taking them while TTC or pregnancy.
