When to announce to everyone?

My husband and I are expecting our first baby on January 30th and we are very excited! We have told close friends and family already. On July 4th I will be 10weeks. Is this to early to tell everyone else?

I think if you aren't high risk and you've already had US and seen or heard heartbeat, you go ahead and do what feels right.

My EDD is January 12th. We plan on announcing to friends on July 4th.

We've already  told parents (@7 weeks), siblings(@7 weeks) and grandparents(@10weeks). Have had two ultrasounds and heartbeat has been strong both times.

I've had two losses and we decided to tell both sets of parents on Father's Day weekend (his family lives out of state and came in for a visit, so it was perfect). I was just shy of 9 weeks, but they took it well and I think if we do have another loss, we'll have a little bit of support. The first two we didn't get the chance to enjoy because we lost before we told anyone. This time around I have bad symptoms and I am hoping it will last! I'm glad we told parents and our sisters, it is making it nice to have people to talk to!

I've only told one friend (who got pregnant 2 weeks after me squeeee!) we are waiting until July 4th to tell our families. I'll be 12w5d when we do. We had a miscarriage in December so we are being extra cautious with sharing.

I told my family around 7-10 weeks. Took a while for different announcements in a broken family.

I will be publicly announcing on July 6th when I am 14 weeks. 
Even though I am 12 weeks already and starting to show, it's getting hard to keep a secret!!

We told our family after our scan on Sunday when I was 8w5d... Everyone else we will tell when we've had our 12 week scan on the 21 July when I'm 12w6d 😁💙💗

I was thinking the same . We have told close family but it's such a long wait. I would say as long as you have had a scan and everything was okay then that should be a good time to announce.

I haven't got a scan for at least another 5 weeks, the nhs is so slow! X

I told everyone Father's Day, I had an ultra sound just before, and it's getting hard to hide it. So I thought it would be a fitting time, both pairs of parents suspected it already.

In due around the same time (January 22nd) we haven't told anyone. My one friend figured it out and my husband spilled the beans to his best friend. Out first urea sound is tomorrow so we will probably tell immediate family and close friends after that but everyone else is going to wait a while lol
