When to go public

Question

My husband and I have told immediate family and just a couple close friends that were 5 weeks pregnant and I know ultimately it's up to us but just wondering how far long were you when you told social media sites that you were pregnant ?

This is my first pregnancy and I am 5 weeks 2 days. I might tell friends and co workers in person at 3 months. Facebook I will wait til at least four months.

I told at 8 weeks with my son when we got the first ultrasound photo, I'm having a later ultrasound (12 weeks this time) so I'm conflicted about when to "tell the world"  all our immediate family already know

lol I may just put my son in a big brother shirt and post the photo online and see if anyone catches on

Our first we told at 6 weeks... second baby we told at 9 weeks after our first ultrasound. We will do the same with thus baby... So somewhere in the 8/9 wk range! Or heck, we may not tell social media at all :)
