It depends on if they WANT to change. My husband made a complete turnaround after I left him. He saw that he was becoming abusive and I wasn't going to put up with it anymore.

Coming from experience, being with a man who was extremely emotionally abusive and always screaming...I left after 5 1/2 years. Got back with him at 6 1/2 years and he was changed about 2 months but that's it. He has reverted again. I don't know that I believe he can change. It's been 7 years. I'm giving more time but I don't have much hope for a future

I need more information . my husband comes from a very abusive background, and he has aggression issues he has had to work with. But here are things he's done and does do that make me stay, and we are the exception. What is your husbands behaviour like, is he aware of it, is he getting help?
