Concerned

So my boyfriend and I have never had sex before. But yesterday, we were messing around and he was rubbing his dick around my folds and outside my vagina. I heard that even with precum being near or on the outside of the vagina you can still get pregnant. Is this true? And have you had an experience like this and gotten pregnant? How likely is this? (Please no judging)
