What if I decided not to know the sex of baby

I'm really thinking about waiting to have my baby to know the gender do u guys thinks it's a good idea?

I'm TTC #1 and I don't want to find out if I can help it. Husband agrees. 
Now if it were twins or something I might reconsider...

Ooh and my mother didn't tell anyone what her last baby was (my brother, 21 years ago). They called the family and said "if you want to know what it is and its name come and visit the hospital". I quite like that idea - even more suspense! One lady was SURE he was going to be a girl and turned up with a huge bunch of pink balloons. Lol!!

I didn't found out the sex of my first and  loved the excitement and surprise. I found out for my second and loved being able to call him by name and bond with him on a more personal level before birth. The moral of the story is whatever you do will be the right thing and wonderful if it is what you want.
