Ok so I got the order on 6/4 from my last prenatal appt for my glucose test and rhogam injection (I'm O-neg)... There was 1 day the following week I was going to go do it before we left for our baby moon to Maui on mon 6/15. Well pregnancy brain and everything I zoned out and accidentally got up and ate some fruit and had some OJ when I let the dogs out and my Ob wanted me to fast... So that went out the window! So we got back Monday 6/22 and I've been giving my body a few days to readjust back to the time bc I was worried it wouldn't accurately reflect my glucose levels for some reason. So it's 6/25 now (3 weeks later, 1 week before next appt). Go to check in and the lady starts giving me crap why I didn't get my rhogam injection already since there was an order for that on there and the sheet says "today" and it was written up 6/4. Now it always says today because it's whenever the nurse types it up! (For instance the glucose test order said "today" but clearly the doc knew I couldn't do it 6/4 bc I hadn't fasted that day and it was the afternoon!) so since she acted like I needed to have the injection already, I asked if i could go do that while I waited for my blood to be drawn. Then she tells me no because they have to draw my blood to determine I need it. Wtf? Then don't act like I should have gotten my injection already and give me crap for it. I had one day I could have gotten my labs done before vacation and I screwed it up and ate and then we were gone for a week! So frustrated... Don't judge me please. Just register me and let me drink the stupid thing cuz I'm starving and I'm tired (couldn't fall asleep till 1;30 in the morning and got up at 5:40) and I wanna get out of here! Sorry this is long but I had to vent. I sure as hell hope I psd this thing cuz I don't wanna have to do the 3 hour!
