I will try to make this as short as possible. I was taken advantage of by my pastor. Because of my family being big in this church I was terrified to come forward about it and I continued life as normally while distancing myself from him. Eventually, 6 months later, I told my family and hubby. When I told everyone we had recently found out we were pregnant. I took responsibility for not coming forward sooner and my hubby and I worked through it and are happier and closer than ever. The problem is my mother in law. She said I cheated, was mad for not telling her myself, said my unborn child did not belong to her son (there is no possible way it belongs to anyone else), said everything I have ever done was a slap in the face, has ignored me, and said this would not be a situation like my brothers (my brother took on a baby as his because he married a girl who was already pregnant). She completely attacked me. What do I do? My poor husband is caught in the middle of a war. I have a gender ultrasound coming up and even thought of inviting her to make my hubby happy but I honestly don't feel she deserves to ever know our child.
