TTC with irregular periods .... HELP

So I've been married 7 months and trying to conceive for 3 of them... The problem is my period is totally irregular ! I went to my gyn , they ran test you know the usual and prescribed me provera to start my period. Long story short I took it for 10 days I got my period on the 9th day and I just got off it on Tuesday , Now according to Glow my fertile window is the 27-30. I'm so confused with this stuff lol what I'm asking is how do I actually know if I'm ovulating ?? Like do I have sex everyday during my fertile period ? Help I'm so lost
