Why is Ibuprofen bad while pregnant?

So a few weeks ago I got this bad pain so I took some ibuprofen to ease it. Well when I told my doctor about the pain and what I did about it she seemed upset that I took ibuprofen instead of Tylenol. Any reasons why it might be bad for the baby?

Main reason is that it affects the development of the baby's kidneys by constricting the blood flow to them. This happens mainly in the third trimester.

Ibuprofen contracts and eases swelling, well when you decrease the swelling in say your uterus it makes it smaller and tighter for the baby, I've always only been told Tylenol while pregnant for pain. It is not an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen. I'm sure there is a more technical or medical definition.. Sorry lol that's always been what the docs have told me.

Also ibuprofen is a blood thinner. Not good for blood flow to baby.
