My husband proposed less than 3 month after meeting me. We got married a couple of month later. It's been only 2 years since we got married, but we are extremely happy and lucky with each other :)

We moved in together after 5 months engaged after 2.5 years and married after 4 years. Married almost 2 years now and very happy :) when it's right it's right!

We got engaged 2 weeks after meeting. Our families weren't mad, maybe more confused than anything, and didn't really seem to take us seriously. Lol. Our friends were SHOCKED. We got married a year and a half later, 3 weeks after I graduated college, have been married 8 years, together almost 10 and are just now TTC #1. I truly feel like we got married for all the right reasons. We were absolutely crazy about each other and still are to this very day. We've outlasted some of our friends and family members who had dated for YEARS before getting married, and then later divorced.  
Our motto has always been when you know, you know. And it has taught us (and our families) not to judge anyone else's situations because no 2 relationships are the same. Best of luck to you!

Met the hubs from a mutual friend. Made him wait a month for sex. Wouldn't move in till married so at 4 months together he got tired of me going home. So he asked me to marry him said yes on my birthday and got married one week later. Been married for 13 years and have two wonderful daughters ages 11 and 6. When it's your time the creator will send them our way we just have to have our eyes open to see them. Hope th is helps!

It's all up to the couple and what they feel is right. I know people that got married after 6 months and are married 20 years still. I know people that dated for 8 years and were divorced after a year and a half of marriage.
