Is 27 weeks still in second trimester?

Sorry, I'm confused. My doc said 28 is the beginning of 3rd tri, but the guide i saw on the interwebs says I'm now in my 3rd tri (27w3d)?

Some say 27 and others say it is 28.  I'm 27 weeks but say I'm in my third trimester because that's what my current symptoms match up with.
