Summer baby??

Question

This is probably a dumb question but you ladies that are having summer babies are you getting them any long sleeve onesies? My baby is due the very beginning of August do you recommend any long sleeve cotton tops or onesies?

I live in Hawaii and I still have a few long sleeve just in case. Babies don't hold heat like adults so it's good to have layers or a variety of clothes for them especially newborns.

I have a short sleeve and a long sleeve...due August 12th but living in the Midwest weather is more unpredictable haha

I would buy a few just to have them handy but you probably won't need them. My baby spent a lot of time swaddled or snuggled up close to me and she was born in May. If we went out in the morning when it was chilly I just used a blanket. I'd buy them bigger like 3-6 months that way you have them on hand when fall arrives.

I bought short sleeve and long sleeve my baby due august 3. I only bought both because there used to being warm.

I had a summer baby and wondered the same thing. So i just got a mixture of clothing. Because babies feel the cold more than we do

I have a mixture. I like our apartment quite chilly. So she can be in long sleeve ones when she's home.

I have maybe 3, but they have the little hand covers on them so that the baby won't scratch herself with her nails. I don't like the little mittens, they didn't stay on very well with my first, so I'm not expecting them to stay put on my second. The hand covers that are attached to the long sleeved onesie work like a charm though.

I asked that question to my mother in law, she said the hospital tells you to dress the baby as you dress yourself. So that means if it's a rainy and cold day obviously you'll be wearing a longs sleeve or a jacket. So do the same for the baby 😉

We love in Georgia and are due august 10. We are taking one short sleeve going home outfit, and a set of long sleeve onesies.

I have a few because we live in Northern California and it can get windy and chilly in the morning/evenings. Also if we go to San Fran it's usually always cold and windy there.
