How old was your little one when you started expressing breastmilk into bottles for feeds?

I do breast most of the time but I use a bottle when we are out and about! Started at two weeks and baby takes everything! Pacifier, bottle and breast!

As a doula I have found that between 3 and 4 weeks is ideal. After that they will sometimes refuse the bottle, too early and they can start to refuse the breast!

I introduced a bottle at 4 weeks & have given him one every now and then since & he always takes it perfectly. We mostly do breast though.

My lactation nurse says wait until after 4 weeks. Helps with nipple confusion.

Never have. He is 21 months. I plan to feed from the breast as long as he wants it.
