Morning sickness and Zofran

Whoever decided to call this morning sickness is a liar. I have been nauseous morning noon and night. Dizzy light headed throwing up etc. For days I wasn't able to get out of bed. My doctor put me on zofran which seems to have taken the edge off and I have been able to move around and work the last 2 days. Suddenly I am being targeted with all of these Zofran  birth defect ads on facebook. I asked my doctor and she said that it has been around a long time and is considered very safe for pregnant women. So I am Trying not to get caught up in the hype. I wanted to do this without any medication but I don't know if I can go on without it. Is anyone else taking this and concerned?
