I have had on and off light spotting and for a couple of weeks. It stopped 3 days ago but I finally decided to go to the hospital yesterday since I was officially 7 weeks and knew there was no point in looking for a heartbeat before that. The good news... they found a heartbeat. The bad news... they also found a tear detaching the sac from my uterus which is the reason for my spotting. They say there is a chance of miscarriage if it fully detached or it can heal and all goes well. I was told to relax and no heavy lifting and standing for long periods. Going for a follow-up next week. Has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome?
