My Dr has been watching a large cyst that I have on my left ovary. At my anatomy scan two weeks ago the dr at maternal fetal medicine recommended having it removed due to its growing size. We go back in two weeks to get a final answer of whether or not they will take it out. If they do take it out it will be before the end of the 2nd trimester. My question is about the recovery from surgery while pregnant. Has anyone had surgery while pregnant or knows someone who has? I'm just wondering if the recovery is longer or more difficult than surgery while not pregnant. Any input is appreciated!
