When did you start taking raspberry leaf tea?

Just want to see if anyone is taking raspberry leaf tea as a preparation for  labour ?

I wasn't aware this was a thing, can someone tell me what purpose this serves?

Midwife said it was fine for me at 33 weeks! I actually like the taste.

I asked my doctor about it and she had no idea what it was, but I'm taking it anyway ! I just can't find it anywhere 😒

What's it supposed to do?

I asked my dr about it, I had no idea what it effects were so he explained. He did encourage me not to start drinking it until 37 weeks though.

I bought the tea and have started it at 34-35 weeks. However talking to my midwife the other day and she said you'd need to drink 8 cups of tea a day to get the effects. She recommended raspberry leaf capsules instead and to start taking them at 37 weeks. I'm still drinking 1-2 cups of tea a day anyway cos I like it.
