Breastfeeding after augmentation anyone?

Question

I had a breast augmentation about 8 years ago, when I thought I was completely done with having babies. Well, I guess I changed my mind bc I'm due in March!!!

My question is did anyone have trouble, concerns, complications with breastfeeding. Mine are gel, over the muscle and doctor had gone through the nipple for placement.

Any advice would be great and hope everyone has a happy and healthy 9 month journey!

If they are under the muscle it shouldn't effect breastfeeding

if the implants are placed underneath the muscle you will be fine to breastfeed

Were yours also above the muscle and through the areola?

I had mine done 5 years ago & had my son 21mths ago & breastfed perfectly fine for 10mths!! I actually had a lift & implants when I had my boobs done so when I was pregnant my OB even told me he wouldn't count on me being able to breastfeed bc of how my incisions were but evidently everything was reconnected just as it should have bc I was shocked when my milk came in 4 days after his birth at full force!
