Sharp breast pain??

Once in a while, around no specific time to ovulation or period, I will get awful sharp pains in one of my breasts. It switches off between left and right each time it happens, and it's extremely painful. I don't know what could be causing it, could it be stress/anxiety/depression or something serious?

I had that problem the 2 times prior to finding out that I was pregnant.
Does this happen to you every month before your period?

Angina? Is it actually in the breast or in the heart ? Or lungs? Pay attention to that, that's important. Breast pain wouldn't really make sense unless you were pregnant/lactating and it wouldn't really be sharp pain just more of a tenderness. I have asthma and I tend to get a sharp chest pain (feels like it's in my boob lol) but it's from a lack of oxygen to the heart. It will happen when I'm sitting doing nothing. Happens more often when I'm stressed. If you don't have asthma could be angina of the heart. Look into those. good luck!
