Cervix/pelvic pain??

Question

I'm 36w3d and I keep feeling like a shooting pain in the vaginal/pelvic area,I'm guessing the cervix. Does anyone else have this?

My dr said it's called Lightning Crotch (awesome name, huh?), and that it's very common, especially during the last few weeks of pregnancy. She also said it isn't anything to worry about--it just feels awful!

I got that today. I thought it was either my imagination, or baby stuck her foot somewhere odd.

I'm 35w 4d and that just started for me as well. My dr told me today it is called lightning or dropping and means the baby is engaging in the pelvis. Made me pretty excited, she is getting closer! 😊

I'm having this too. I haven't been to my doctor yet to ask about it though so I don't know what it is either.
