How long was it until you felt the baby kick/move for the 1st time?

I'm just curious to know at how many weeks did you first feel your baby? And what exactly did you feel? I'm 17 weeks today and I've yet to feel anything. I'm just so anxious to feel my sweet baby boy already!

Baby #2, I started feeling him at 14 weeks and some number of days. I'm almost 16 weeks now and I still don't feel him regularly. The difference between it and gas is it usually keeps going, like popcorn kernels popping in your tummy, whereas gas is typically one or two twitches then done. I felt my son at 16 weeks but I had a friend that didn't feel her baby girl until she was more than 20 weeks when we were pregnant with our first. It all depends on the placement of your placenta and how active you and the baby are. The more you move around the less likely you'll notice it, it's when you're lying in bed that you can usually feel it the most.

I'm 17w4d FTM and I'm finally starting to feel a little something - felt like a little feather brushing up against the sides of my uterus - it has been very subtle and hard to distinguish from regular internal movement, but laying on my side very still I'm starting to notice it. Today, though, I felt baby jump!!!  I was adjusting the step on our scaffolding (painting the nursery) and the step made a loud thud when it locked into the base.  Baby jolted!  I loved it!!!  Don't get discouraged, placenta placement can make things tougher to feel.  Plus, although baby has grown a lot in length, weight is still low, baby will chub up soon!

During my 17th week I was sure I was feeling baby.  It feels like muscle twitches to me - usually in the morning or at night.

If you are a FTM you might not feel your baby till 20+ weeks. This is my 3rd I felt her move the first time at 16 weeks it was very faint kinda felt like a gas bubble. But now I'm 19 weeks and I feel her more and more. You'll get there soon 😊

I was about 12 or 13 weeks with my second. With my first, my placenta was in the front so it was much later.

This is baby #4 but pregnancy #8 for me.. I felt this one at 9 weeks... But now feeling kicks on the outside too! 17 weeks tomo!
