Can you be pregnant while on your period??

Yes, you can. I had full blown periods all through my pregnancy (had a miscarriage at 5 months). Many women now days do have periods because of the hormones in foods, etc. thy may not be real "periods" but the monthly bleeding, yes. I know multiple women who have had periods for up to 6 months of their pregnancies.

No. You can get implantation bleeding and its normal for some light spotting once pregnant(and I mean little and light) but you can't get a normal period if you're pregnant.

some people continue to have periods throughout their pregnancies & some pregnancies can actually go missed! I'm not sure how common this is and im sure it's not very common at all but ive read a few stories/news articles of this happening!

Yes you can! I'm wondering if I may be pregnant right now. I missed my cycle in may. Took a HPT June 1st and it was positive. Took it again 2 days later and negative. Had my period in June, but having symptoms this month. Lower back ache, headaches, dizziness, sore breasts, nausea, and what I believe was implantation bleeding 2 times at the end of last month. (Spotting that is a very lite pink. Not red in color like on your period.) My cycle is supposed to start on Saturday, so hopefully it won't be there!!! :)
