Need to lose 70 lbs

Cait
I need help! I need to lose 70lbs or so to make myself eligible for IVF in case we need it. Right now, I weigh 270 and have a BMI of 40. I have PCOS with insulin resistance and it seems like I just can't lose weight. I'm obviously not doing something right. I am taking Metformin extended release 500mg three times a day, but so far it hasn't lowered my insulin level yet and I haven't lost any weight.
I'll take any advice that helped you!

I do weight watchers and work out every night even if it's at 10 pm after putting my son to bed and making sure he's sleeping. I've worked so hard to lose this weight and today I'm down 15 lbs in almost 2 months. Don't give up and keep at it. I have pcos and endo and ic. Its not easy at all and days like today I struggled but I stuck with it and I'm hungry a little but I know I can wait until breakfast! YOU CAN DO IT!

Are you on a diet? A protein diet helped me more than the metformin. Did you see an endocrinologist?

my dietician asked me to eat lots of cheese and yogurt since it has lot of protein and I don't eat meat. you can replace eggs for breakfast which are real healthy. but watch how much you eat. if you feel like you are going to be full that means you have had a lot. I can share my email with you if you want anything more in detail. hope this helps.

In order to lower you glucose levels you need to control your serving size of carbs and meals overall. Drinks lots of water and make sure you always have a serving of vegetables and salad with your dinner to keep you full. And don't forget to have snacks 2hours after your meals. Example cheese stick and small apple, or 2tbs of peanut butter with 6 crackers or apple slices. Don't gave fruit with your meals, have the fruit only at snack time. For snack carbs should be at 15grams which is one serving. For meals 30grams which is 2 servings. For breakfast I usually start with only 15grams because my morning sugar levels are the highest. Keep a log of your food and sugar levels so you can get an idea of how your body reacts.

Cutting out gluten and eating more fresh foods helped me lose 10lbs in a month.

I went to a weight lost clinic and toon diet pills for about 3-4 months and I lost almost 50 pounds. I have to same problem but the Metformin did help me and I was also taking Clomid. I'm now 8 months pregnant with a very healthy baby boy although I did develop diabetes durning this pregnancy.

Try a low carb, high protein lifestyle. I use Isagenix to replace 1-2meals a day. It's low on the glycemic index and help with my cravings. Good luck!
