I really do want to have a baby and start my family...but one thing is holding me up. I would LOVE to lose like 10 pounds. I am quite slender and athletic, but I am not as fit as I usually am and the 10 pounds would bring me back to my goal weight. I know that during the pregnancy I will have to gain about 30 pounds, and I also think that losing the weight npw could keep that in a more healthy range later. Should I try to lose while TTC at the same time?

I am currently 5'6" and 140 lbs.
