Tdap shot?

Can I have thoughts on the TDAP shot? I'm debating on if I wanna get it while pregnant or not

I'm getting it at 27-28 weeks because it will transfer some immunity to my baby to protect him before he can be vaccinated. Also, all family members who will be caring for him are getting a booster.

I got mine after I had my baby, right before I left the hospital. I didn't know you could get it while pregnant.

My mom got hers last week. She told her doctor at her yearly checkup that her daughter is pregnant and wanted her to get a shot, and the doc immediately knew. I'll be getting mine at the recommended time, and have asked all relatives who wish to visit in the first 6 months of the baby's life to get the tdap. I've had some push back from husband's family, who all want to visit about 3 weeks after I'm due. The ones who objected were told that it is their choice, but it is our choice for them to not see us or the baby then. My sister in law didn't have them get the shot when she had her baby this year, so they don't quite understand why we want them to. Husband and I will also be paying for our roommate to get the shot.

I got one 2 weeks ago and the shot itself didn't hurt whatsoever. It was a little sore and my arm felt a little "heavy" for a few days but other than that I would've never known I even got the shot. I got mine at SAMs club and didn't even need a prescription for it.

I got my shot Tuesday at my 28 weeks appointment...besides feelings like someone ha punched me hard in the arm, it is a shot very much talked about nowadays. I had it right before I was pregnant and I wanted to make sure I passed some immunity to my baby girl. I am also making my boyfriend get the shot too!

I got mine at 28 weeks. It won't hurt your baby. But if you're worried about getting it while pregnant, which some women are, then you can get it before you leave the hospital. There have been a lot of cases of Pertussis where I live, so I don't want to chance it at all. I made my whole family get it. And my husband and his family.

I got mine. (I also stepped on a rusty nail). I would have gotten it anyways. There are three cases of whooping cough in my county so I wanted to protect my baby as much as possible.
