Birth size

I don't know if this is going to sound ignorant lol

I was wondering if birth size has effected anyone's due date....

I'm a pretty petite person and my SO is a kinda big guy. I'm 5'5 115 when not pregnant while he is 6'3 230. I was just over 5 pounds when born, he was over 10 pounds.

I am 27 weeks pregnant with a boy and due October 12.

I'm curious to know if a big baby from a small mother causes labor before the expected due date. Almost like your body says 'nope, that's all I can handle, move out'

I know there are a lot of reasons for early labor, just curious if anyone feels that it happened to them.
