Menstrual cups?

I was wondering what all of your 
 pinions are on menstrual cups? I currently am looking for healthier alternatives for my time of the month and went searching for organic cotton tampons which I did find but also came across these menstrual cups!? Spiked my curiosity I would like to know what y'all thought of these?

You don't get tss from a cup. It's made out of medical grade silicone. Unless you're disgusting and wear it in all the time, you won't get infections.

I've used a cup for awhile and it's amazing. My periods are shorter, no cramps, I can go up to 12 hours, even on my heavy days without having to empty it. Which is great because I'm extremely active and busy so I don't always have time to find a bathroom every 2 hours. It is way better for your body then tampons. I love that I can travel everywhere with it and it doesn't take up a ton of space in luggage to bring in case I get it. I also love that I don't have to spend like 40$ a cycle on tampons. I love mine. I have the lunette. I will never use disposables again.

Can you get tts from Them? Idk how they work.. How many times do you have to change it?

I've been using one for about 4 months. There is definitely a learning curve to them (took me about 2.5 cycles to really get the hang of it). I love mine now and will never go back to tampons again!

I've been using one for about 2 years now and I would not go back to pads or tampons. It feels so much safer and clean. I actually forget I am on my period using the cup which is a plus. I would recommend using a panty liner the first few times until you get the positioning right 👍

I tried softcups last month. The first day went well with only minimal leaking during urination. However, I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible cramps. I went to the bathroom to remove it and immediately passed out as soon as it was out of my body. I hit my head on the floor, but came to shortly after (I think) with no more cramping. Used tampons the rest of the week with no complications. Maybe they just aren't for me, but I had never heard of such a negative experience when I researched so I felt I should be honest.

I use cloth pads I would love to use a cup but I can't even use tampons because I cramp a lot worse with them. I've heard great things from friends!!! 💗
