Stained Hair - Fixes?

Question

I dyed my hair a red-ish brown in January with what was supposed to be temporary, 2 week dye. Fast forward to now and my hair has lightened but the dye obviously stained my hair. My roots are showing like crazy now, any suggestions for fixes? Is dying it back to my natural color the only viable option?

Go to a stylist. They can do anything you want. If you are low on money than try a hair school they are cheaper than a salon and will have stylists supervise there work

A hairdresser told me and my friend that red pigments ALWAYS stay in your hair.

I finally had to have a stylist do it yesterday and this is how it came out
Still read just more natural and I'm soposed to be blond.

You'll need to break the color up with lowlights and highlights, but a violet shampoo can help tone the red to a more neutral shade. Your roots will probably turn bluish though.

Yeah the only way to get rid is to dye it. Red always stays in the hair.
